Tim’s Vermeer

I rarely go to the movies, but on Sunday, I got to see TIm’s Vermeer. If you’re in Philly, it’s playing for another week at the Ritz at the Bourse. It was absolutely wonderful, and well worth seeing. The film is a documentary about Tim Jenison, a graphics specialist whose obsession with the 17th century Dutch artist, Vermeer, becomes a personal crusade to discover how he painted by recreating Vermeer’s The Music Lesson.

The trailer is below, and if it’s playing near you, I strongly recommend checking it out.
