R.I.P. Vishnu Kanumalla

Vishnu Kanumalla Two Sundays ago (the 2nd), my half-brother Vishnu passed away. His funeral was on Friday. I’ve been thinking a lot about what to post here, knowing that I have to acknowledge his life and loss somehow. I’m still not sure how to properly do that, though, so for now, I’m just posting this.

  1. Heartfelt sympathy, Anju. We lost my sister last year and I think I know a little of how you feel. Peace to him, and to you and your family.

  2. Thank you so much Anju for starting the blog on Vishnu. It was very good seeing you after a long time even though I wish it was under a better circumstance. I still can not believe that we can never see him again and I am sure you feel the same.

  3. Hi Anju,
This is krishnapria aunty from California. We are all shocked with this news and feel very sad indeed. We were very fond of Vishnu, and he was a regular part of our lives when we lived in New York, years ago. Yes he was an amazing boy as we knew him, full of smiles and he was loved by everyone in our home! He will be missed very much. I ask God to give everyone in the family and his circle the strength to deal with this Will of God! What else can we do?
Please accept my heartfelt hugs and condolences for this. Please keep in touch.

  4. Hi Anju,

This is Krishna Prasad from California. This is one shocking news that I could not handle at all. We all like Vishnu. He was always full of life and fun. Hope God gives strength to you and your family. Please do keep in touch. I talked to Venkat but could not talk to others in your family.

    R.I.P Vishnu

  6. this has indeed sent a shockwave to the whole Rockland community. We had just seen him at last year’s Brahmotsavam . He was a fine young man . So many sleepless nights we have had since we could not believe it. And we are continously praying to Sriman Narayana to give peace and coping ability to all of you.

  7. Hi Anju.
I am a very old friend if Vishnu and have the fondest memory of him. He was a big part of my family. He was such a kind loving person. The news rocked us to the core, even though we didn’t speak everyday, he was a thought of. I can’t believe we won’t be seeing or hearing him ever again. Deepest sympathy to his wife daughter and family.
