Toll Road, or A Post With Many Footnotes

Chris, a writer-friend, recently* had a short story, “Toll Road,” published in Collective Fallout. In the magazine’s own words:

Collective Fallout is a literary magazine dedicated to queer-themed sci-fi, fantasy, horror and other speculative short fiction, poetry, drama and graphic storytelling.

Chris’s story is quite good,** so I’d like to encourage you to pick up either an electronic copy (at the low rate of $0.99) or a paper one (at the somewhat higher but still quite reasonable rate of $6.12***).

*The story appears in the July 2011 issue. Apparently there was a delay in publication.
**No, really it is. Chris is one of those really good writers that you† would be horribly envious of except he’s so damn nice.
***That is a very odd price. Just saying.
†Okay, maybe not you, because you are a good and noble person. I make no such pretentions.
