Book Review: A Game of You (Sandman #5)

A Game of You (The Sandman, #5)A Game of You by Neil Gaiman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a beautiful and sad story arc that followed Barbie, a character originally from The Dolls House. There were a number of things I loved about this: how little details are revealed that turn out to somehow connect to other characters and parts of Dream’s story, how marvelously complicated the characters’ personal lives are, and how the difference between good and evil isn’t always clear cut.

As with other volumes, there was one character who I particularly want to know more about: Thessaly, who is petty and vengeful and slightly power-mad. I also hope we see more of Barbie, and that good things happen to her.
