The story told in Season of Mists is satisfying. I like the way the storylines interwove, and I like the idea of Dream setting things right. He’s rather likeable anyway, but it makes him more likable. I also like the idea that people (or immortals) can change for the better, especially since so many of the characters are trapped in their own self-delusions—making their own hell and carrying it around with them.
The one thing more that I wanted was to know what happens to Rowland and Paine. I hope I’ll find out in a later volume.
