Vendredi de Vocabulaire: Secouer

Secouer means to shake. I heard this word on a podcast called Vos Animaux, specifically the episode from March 21st. They were discussing pigeonniers (housing for pigeons) and how to limit urban pigeon populations. Apparently shaking the eggs is a good way to prevent them from developing.

And in case you were wondering, apparently pigeons prefer to have their own nest boxes.
